Peter Visscher studied Civil Engineering and Business Administration.

He started his career at the Dutch Directorate for Public Works and Water Management and in 1974 he started at IHC Holland at the marketing department. In 1978 he continued his career as Marketing Manager Far East at Ballast Nedam International. After three years he left for a period of three years to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and in 1985 he made a next step in his career as Commercial Manager in Ryadh, Saudi Arabia. After these years abroad he decided to return to The Netherlands and his appointment as board member of Service One Catering in 1987 meant a turning point in his life. In 1997 Service One Catering merged with BRN and the activities are continued under a new company name: Albron B.V. From this date on Peter Visscher is a Member of the Executive Board of Albron, which is the largest independent caterer in the Netherlands since 2001. He has been elected Vice-President of Ferco in 2006.

Moreover, he is an active member of the Dutch catering association Veneca, is President of Cercat and is a Board Member of the Nationaal Epilepsie Fonds.
