
FERCO brings together the national contract catering
associations from different EU Member States and aims
one day to cover the whole of Europe, as specific contract
catering associations are created in each Member State.
The General Assembly develops FERCO policy, holds
elections for membership and officials, and establishes
working groups on areas of strategic importance. One General
Assembly is held in June, the other in December.
The president is assisted by three vice-presidents.
Each vice-president handles a specific issue, with one vice-president
acting as Treasurer. The Brussels-based secretariat conducts
the Federations daily business.

FERCO takes some individual initiatives to defend specific
interests of the Contract catering through activities
co-ordinated at EU level and at national level, and carried
out in partnership with FERCO members. In other cases, FERCO
seeks to be part of a broader alliance with EU associations
sharing the same interests and objectives.
