FERCO among the founding members of E3PO, the new EU association for the promotion of Public Private Partnership

Since December 2008, FERCO is part of the founding members of E3PO, the EU association for the promotion of Public Private Partnership (PPP). All the sectors represented in E3PO have a consolidated expertise in the management of Services of General Economic Interest (SGEI). Together, the founding members of E3PO represent 1 200 000 jobs in Europe and operate in sectors such as energy efficiency, waste management, environmental services, water management, toll motorways and food services.

E3PO’s objectives are as follows: promote the added value that private operators can bring in the management of SGEI to the benefit of the public authority and the users, to offer their expertise to the EU decision makers, to be vigilant regarding the principle of neutrality and fir competition between public and private operators.
